I just wish the story was longer, a great story of vengeance and the good and evil of love, a must read
Someone said that the plot was a bit rushed in this book but I see the positive side in this case…”Tarnished Honor” leaves me wanting more from these wonderful characters…
Brighde in particular is a firebrand of a heroine even though she has the looks of a sweet and innocent protaganist (sp)…Also I really like the overall mood and tension of the storyline and the interaction with the heroine and Connell who has a lot of depth to his character as well…This was a quick but satisfying read!
I had trouble putting this book down. Mind you I have a new born baby at home and need to sleep when I get the chance however I found myself reading the story when I should have been sleeping. I found both the hero and heroin to be strong characters. This author is one I would probably read from again.
I read this wonderful love story in one sitting, never skipping a sentence or a paragraph – which I somewhat guilty admit is a habit of mine to rush stories along. Brighde, the beautiful damsel in distress has spunk and a mind of her own. Her benefactor, a man large in heart, honor and stature, Connell is tough on the outside, but surprisingly tender on the inside. Their union has a rocky beginning, and the trials continue with the relentless pursuit of her former suitor Ross. I found this story to have just the right mix of love, lust and tension to keep my interest to the very last page. I’m happy to recommend Tarnished Honor and look forward to reading more from this author.
On reading the synopsis I almost took a pass on this book and would’ve missed a great read!!!! Who doesn’t love manly men and manly fae men?
This was very different. Which was enjoyable. Unexpected twists and turns. If you like Fantasy and romance you will love this one.
This was an amazing read. I loved the story and characters. It ended much to soon! Author made characters easy to like and want more.
A truly enchanting book to read. I thoroughly enjoyed Blessing The Highlander. Pulled me in and hooked me right at the start, never letting go until the end. I enjoyed the fact the heroine didn’t pull any obvious stupid stunts. Fresh and unpredictable enough to really enjoy.
Heather mistakes strong loving friendship for true passionate love with Coll. She marries Blane (arranged marriage) when Coll marries another. Heather soon discovers she loves Blane not only for his handsome looks, but his sincerity, kindness, respect and passion they share.
This is a very good story.
Although it was a short book, it was complete. There wasn’t a dull page, and I wish it had been longer.
I also love love stories, and I found this story very refreshing and impressive.
So keep on writing beautiful stories.
